It Was an Honor Just to Be Nominated...

... but it's even better to win both my categories in the "prestigious" Drysdale Awards for blogging! First, I'd like to thank the little people. So, thank you, Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman!

Danny and Rhea

Also, thanks to all the blogging and non-blogging bitches who voted for me, albeit under duress. I will treasure my awards for Blog With the Most Pictures of the Blogger and Blog With the Most Swears always.

Finally, to my fellow nominees, I'd like to say: Kneel before WendyB! In your face, suckas! I rule! Oh, and you are all so very deserving and were worthy competitors and blah blah blah, insert more good-sport winner stuff here.

I am sadly unable to attend the glamorous awards ceremony in Chicago, but if I could attend, I'd probably look something like this at some point in the evening.

I believe this counts both as a picture of me AND a swear.
Time to start my campaign for next year's awards!

  19. No, I'm not in Chicago. I was just being a good samaritan with selfish and ulterior motives. Plus, it's really easy to make offers you are pretty sure you won't get taken up on!

  20. I was nominated but didn't win the "Fixies" as I'm calling them. I'm thinking about showing up though and maybe smashing some of the trophies. And then saying, "What???" - like I did nothing.

  21. Yep, that's a double whammy of a photo. Congrats on both wins!

  22. Damn, KT, I was hoping you'd go there and kiss an awards presenter for me, and then do some one-armed push-ups.
